The dance was practically given up a week ago today, because of the approach of -the big Halloy's comet, but, since the comet failed to att'eittl to its gigantic, job of giving this old earth a hard rap, tho freshmen havo decided to hold their dance as a sort of love feast and jollification over the salvation of their fclass and Alma Mater. The comet has oome and is going, but tho freshman hop is yet to come.' The committee in "charge of the fir.st year dance; have decided that tlio number of tickets will absolutely bo limited to eighty. r j i it . ! Program U A. M. Fraternity hall will accommodate ninety to a hundred couples, but the committee has decided to cut down Uie number of tickets ratho than run any risk of hav ing too large a crowd.
