Some of the forestry boys are copy ing the maps showing the distribu tion of Nebraska ties which Professor Hessey had made a few years ago. The people in Nebraska Hall are kicking because the hall clock has had its face covered for the past wek. All are hoping that the clock tinker wil get to work before long and give us time again. Professor Hessey has been adding some new furniture to his office for the accommodation of the Increasing num ber of books and papers belonging to t lie department. The annual business meeting of the Y. M. C. A. will be held in U.107 Wed nesday evening. March 23. at 7:30 o'clock. Ofllcers of the association for the ensuing year wil) be elected, and every member Is requested to be pres ent at this meeting. The 29th of March has been decided upon as the date for the annual ban quet of tho University Y. M. C. A. The tickets have been placed at a price within, the reach of all and all Uni versity men are cordially invited. An excellent menu is promised, speeches by prominent Y. M. C. A. debaters and athletic men will be made and a gen eral good time assured to all who at tend. This banquet, coming but once n year and given by an association po vitally connected with Uuiversitv life, should be well attended. Mr. Pfeiffer, Vocal solo. The numbers were appreciated by all and called down much praise upon tho heads of those who rendered them. Afterwards the regular business meeting and elections of ofllcers was hold. Mr. Blekford was elected pres ident; Miss Matthews, vice president; Miss Eccles, secretary; Mr. Earns worth, treasurer; Mr. Vasey and Miss Dally, musical secretary; Mr. Davis, slate bearer.
