The class in Greek literature hoa fin ished tho study of Epic and Lyric poets and poetry, with selected masterpieces from each of tho writers discussed. Thoy will now bogin tho literary study of tho Greek dramatists, especially tho tragedies of Aaeschylos, Sophokles- and EurlpldieB. Changes in Geology Courses. A number of changes in courses aro announced for the geological depart ment. Next semestor tho class in field geology will bo open to both men and women, and meet on Saturday after noons. The field trips will bo made in carriages and various places of inter est about Lincoln will be visited. One special trip 'Will be mado to Roca, and another to outcrops along tho Platte rivor. The geography class, course 22, will recite Saturday forenoon. Tho work will consist of lantern lectures and laboratory work, covering tho ge ography of the United States with spe cial treatment of Nebraska. This course is designed for teachers and others wishing to learn more of 'the country and its physical features. American -History Books. Among the now books that have been rocoived recently by tho American his tory department aro several volumes of th Federal edition of Alexander Hamilton's works. In all there are twelve volumes in the set, and it is expected that these will bo acquired soon, together with complete sets of tho works of Jefferson and "vVashing ton. ThiB acquisition is an import ant one as it meets a demand1 of long standing.
