No man can be successful in home dalr.Miig unless he has,, a thorough knowledge of d kiry machinery. Ke cognlz.ing this fact, the department of Dairy Husbandry in the HsfUyer sity of Nebraska ,s hnol of Agricul ture is making oxtensne prepara tions to give a thorough courfc in the manipulation of hand separatorn. The department has ten kinds of sep arators ror use in the course tlrfs year. We urge all voting met who are interested in dalrvmg to avail themselves of this opportunity to ob tain a knowledge of the science. Nebraska has a great future as a horticultural state, but experience has taught that climatic conditions In the west aro vastly different from those in the eastern states. Our severe climate make it necessary to know what varieties to plant ana how to take caro of thorn aftor plant ing.
