Messrs. Kendall and Brooke, seniors
in Electrical Engineering, have
taken for tho subject of their thesis
the much-talked of Fremont and
Omaha electric railway. This scheme
includes the construction of a large
dam. In tho Platte near Fremont,
and the transmission or tho power,
thus made available, to Fremont,
Omaha, and intermediate stations
whero.pawer and electric lights arc
needed. Messrs Kendall and Brooke
have spent several days surveying In
the neighoorhooo of tho slto of the
dam in order to obtain data upon
which to loso their figures. As
have begun "pushing" their
rules, some tangible results arc
to be expected.
