outfits in this county me in the habit of
crossing bridges and culverts without
first laying down track planks therefore
be it resolvod that the commissioners
of Madison county will hold the owners
of steam threshing or shelling outfits
responsible for all damages to any bridge
or culvert that may be caused by said
owners attempting to cross same with
out first laying track planks and it is
further resolved that this county will
not be responsible for any loss or dam
ago that may be sustained by the owner
or owners of any steam threshing or
shelling outfit by the breaking or giving
way of any bridge or culvert from any
cause whatsoever
