county is supposed to be a member
and it is desired that each bhall so for
as praetable take an active past inthe

We desire that our county the larg
est in the state should be ably repre
sented To do this we need the
help of all Let us show our zeal for
our homeeonnty by our united effort
It was suggested that the women of
each precinct or school district in the
county form themselves into a little
band to aid this work Some of the
things that are desired by the State
Board are as follows

women in the county

donate a piece of furniture Many
things have been named but none as
yet have been fully decided upon
The most practiable seems to be
a chair decorated with pine cones
It will be nacessary to secure designs
and workmen to make the frame
work and many other things To do
this a fund must be raised In this
especially all may help The ladies of
Valentine have thought of giving a
supper to aid the cause Those of
other distiicts will doubtless use their
own devices
The ladies ofjValentine will be glad
to hear from the ladies of other psirts
of the county as soon as possible
