Phyllis Jane Fauquet
Funeral services were held
Wednesday at 2 p. m. from the
First Presbyterian Church here
with Rev. Robert McLeod offi
ciating, for Phyllis Jane Fauquet,
22, who died Nov. 23 as a result
of an automobile accident near
Columbus.
She was born Oct. 17, 1941 at
Lincoln, daughter of Paul E. and
Bonnie Brown Fauquet. She lived
for a short time at Weeping Wa
ter, prior to her residence in
Plattsmouth. She was graduated
from the Plattsmouth Schools
and the University of Nebraska
The past year Miss Fauquet
had been teaching Home Econo
mics at Newman Grove. She had
planned to be married In June
to Alan Dexter, Lincoln.
Surviving are the parents;
sister, Mrs. Joyce Harmon of
Santa Clara, Calif.; brothers,
Larry of Lynnwood, Wash., Phil
lip John of the United States
Naval Music School in Washing
ton and Danny at home; grand
mother, Mrs. Emma Brown of
Kearney, five nieces and nep
hews. She was a member of the Pres
byterian Church; Past Honored
Queen of Job's Daughters; Miss
Plattsmouth and Miss Cass
County In 1957, and Queen of
King Korn Karnival in 1961. She
was well known for her music
ability and was an honor stu
dent. Committal was In Pleasant
Ridge Cemetery. Pallbearers
were Roger Roberts, Tom Win
scot, Larry Christensen, Ray
Stevens, Don Bauder and Tom
Thurber. Flower bearers were
Mrs. Larry Christensen and Mrs.
Roger Wehrbein.
Music was by Mrs. David Mill
er, soloist and Mrs. George Ja
cobs, organist.

were George Smith, Ray Story,
Dick Spangler and Harold Ed

Obituary
Ronald Roy McWilliams
EAGLE (Special) Ronald
Roy McWilliams was born Oct.
4, 1924, on a farm near Palmyra,
to Roy E. and Ethel D. McWil
liams. He died Nov. 19 In a car acci
dent at the age of 39. .
He united with the Methodist
Church at Eagle as a young man
and later became a member oi
the Presbyterian Church at Du
Quoin, 111., where he lived with
his family.
He was a graduate of Eagle
High School, attended and was
graduated from the University
of Nebraska and received his
Masters degree from Purdue
University in Indiana.
A member of Canopy Lodge
AF & AM in Elmwood, Mr. Mc
Williams was a veteran of World
War 2 and the Korean War. He
served in the United States Navy
until February, 1946. He was re
called to active duty in 1951 and
served until 1952.
He was married May 24, 1951,
In Lincoln to Shirley K. Mahr.
They had three children.
His father preceded him In
death in 1941.
He is survived by his wife
Shirley, daughters Leslie Marie
and Nancy Jo, and son Bruce
Allen; his mother, Mrs. J. Clark
Gonzales; sister, Mrs. Ivan
Jones, Muskogee, Okla.; a broth
