The three course luncheon, which is a semi monthly event, was served in the dining room of the Hotel Platts mouth. President Vincent Kelley led the discussion at the business end of the luncheon. Plans for the organization to sponsor a banquet in honor of the Flattsmouth high school foot ball squad were discussed. A. Galloway and daughter, Virginia, arrived home Sunday night from Hamilton, Missouri, where Mrs. Galloway was called last week by the sudden death of her brother, Carl Snow, in Los Angeles, where he -has made his home for a number of years. He was brought back to the old home in Missouri and services were held on Saturday at St. Joseph, and the burial in the Mt. Auburn cemetery in that city. Mr. Snow's death occurred sudden ly as he was engaged in his work at the Studebaker plant at Los An geles. He will be remembered here by a large group of old friends as he was engaged in working in the local railroad shops for some time. Mr. Snow is survived by a devoted wife, a son, Carl Jr., and a daughter, Geraldine, his aged mother, four sis ters, two brothers, several nieces and nephews and a host of friends and acquaintances who join in mourning his loss. JURY RETURNS VERDICT The Jury in the case of George McFadden, et al vs. Nora Schick, et j al returned a sealed verdict Thurs-1 day evening and this morning the same was opened by Judge W. V. Wilson on the reconvening of the jury panel. The verdict gave the plaintiff in the case $900 for dam ages claimed to have been sustained ir an accident. The plaintiff had sued for the sum of $3,000. The members of the jury hearing the case were H,. D. Fischer, Clarence Mei singer, E. H. Wescott, John Dill, Louie Buechler, Ed Kohrell, C. C. Cross, John L. Hadraba, Alda L. Taylor, Lloyd Grady, L. J. Walradt, Everett Sudduth.
