The ladies left here Fri day afternoon and their husbands joined them Saturday evening and aarly yesterday morning started the pheasant hunt. Hamilton Mark seem ed to be the lucky hunter this year having his limit of pheasants., in only a few minutes after he started hunt- ng and being very thrilled when getting two pheasants at one shot. The party were guests of the Merle Pennington family in Plain view and while there the ladies had a very nice visit with the Ebinger family, former Plattsmouth residents, Mrs. Ebinger being a sister of George Wledman of this city. The ladies left their husbands to hunt for a couple .more days and they coming on home. The ladies were Mrs. Maybelle Gorder and daughter, Mary Kath ryn, Charles Painter, Mrs. Hamilton Mark, Mrs. Jack Dickey and Mrs. Myron Birdsley of Auburn. Mrs. Dickey visited her mother at Madi son, Nebr. The trip was enjoyed im mensely and the ladies brought back a large number of lovely birds. The pheasants are plentiful In Plainview this season. - . y --I . - )' - TO RETURN FROM HOSPITAL From Mcnday's Dally Otto Lutz, who has been at the U. S. Veterans' hospital at Lincoln for a short , time , undergoing an examination and checkup, is expected to return home today. Mr. Lutz has not been well In the past few years and 'has been under treatment sev eral times. His present condition was found very satisfactory, however. Subscribe for the Journal.
