People who attended the Epis-
copal church on Sunday were
given a musical treilt. Miss
Galley of Columbus sang and
she was very ably accompanied
on the violin by Henry Hoffman
of Kansas City , and on the organ
by Miss Graham of this city.
Mr. Hoffman is a friend of 'Vm.
Harnack. He and his wIfe will
remain here until after the Salem
Chautauqua. His music was
greatly enjoyed while in the city
last year and it is of the highest
order. Falls City is fortunate in
having him here , for he is one of

these generous musicans who
gives freely of his talent. Miss
Graham has become a tine instrumentalist -

the great Chicago Sherwood for
several years. ,
Captain Webb , who was the
tirt to introduce to the public
performing seals , is exhibiting
the latest results of his patient
study and training of these curi-
ous beasts in a marvelous act
with Tangling Brothers' 'Worlc1's
Greatest Shows this season.
.
The performance requires two
big stages , and the seals enter in
to the spirit of the acts with ob-
vious est. They juggle , play
musical instruments , balance
balls and drum major's sticks i
and feathers , jump through fir\
hoops , toss foot-balls and comical -
cal hats to each other , drill , : ' ,
waltz , spar , fence and even run . ' -4

presented by Captain Webb is
