An Ugly Cut.

thc misfortune one day last week
of severing an antcry 011 the
thumb of , his right hand , from
which hc lost so much blood that
it caused him to faint away. Hc
is however much improved at this

Geiger's Violins Best.
C. E. Davenport of Omaha has
been in thc city this week , over-
hauling some of thc vault locks

violins made by Joe to be among

Colts Win 'Ag in.
The Colts won another game of
ball last Sunday ; this time from
'l'ccumsch , by a score of 6 to 4.
Owing to thc late -arrival of thc
train , the 'l'ccumseh hoys ) did not
arrive until five o'clock , hut they
were ready to go to work as soon
as they arrivel , and from the
first it was seen they were out-
classed , though the ) ' put up a
stubborn fight for the supremacy.
This makes ten gamcs thc Colts
have played this season winning
eight of thcm. They will play
with Atchison next Sunday and
it promises to bc one of thc best
games of thc scason.
