thusiasm and interest was treat.
The opera house was crowded' .
'rotal receipts 872.00 at 15 cents
admission , besides several com-
pliinentary admissions.
'rhe Saturday sessions were
held in the Central school build-
ing. The program was carried
out as announced.
During the business meeting it
was decided to make Falls City
the permanent place for holding
the meetinc's. The teachers de-
cided to make The Falls City
Tribune the official organ of the
county department of education
and of the Richardson County
teachers association. The Tribune -
unc makes a special rate of 75
cents per year to all teachers.
The following resolutions were
read and adopted.
The teachers of Richardson
county in association assembled
submit the following resolutions :
Resolved That we heartily en-
dorse' the custom of holding an
annual inter-high-school debate.
Resolved , That we extend the
thanks of the association to Prof.
Hodgman of the State University
and to Supt. Anderson of Tecum-
seh for their services as judges in
the inter-high-school debate , also
for their helpful remarks during
the Saturday morning sessio
Resolved , That we endorse the
administration of Supt. Crocker
in the execution of his duties as
superintendent of Richardson
County , realizing that the best
interests of education in the
county can be secured only by a
close . sympathy between the superintendent -
erintendent and his teachers.
Resolved , 'rhat we thank the
the people and the teachers of
Palls City for the pleasant en ter-
tainJ11ent of the visiting teachers.
In as much as school athletics
is no longer an experiment in its
application to the educational ( lc-
velopment of the boys and girls
be it further
