feet on the south of said road to be graded by him It is further moved that the Coun ty Board use the inheritance tax now in the hands of the county treasurer to commence the permanent improve ment of said road Motion carried unanimously The board entered into a contract with the Audit and Bond company of America to audit the books of the fol lowing officers Clerk of District Court 4 years sheriff 4 years county clerk 6 years and county treasurer 3 years The following claims were audited and allowed and the clerk was instrui ed to draw warrants on the county general fund levy of 1910 in pay interested The first division treats of the kind of soil best adapted to the growth of the plant with suggestions for treat ing soil which does not give satisfac tory results This is followed by n discussion of the seed bed This meth od of its preparation and the im portance of manure receive a promi nent place The farmers are advised to purch ase their seed from the north or frori the dry lands of the northwest rath er than from the south It is also recommended that no seed be used which has not been tested for purity and for germination by the govern ment seed laboratory located at Lin coln This test will be made free A discussion of the amount of seed per acre and of the various methods of seeding will help the man who is in doubt in reference to this point Broadcasting is
