Nebraska Telegraph Items
One special advantage to readers of
The Lincoln State Journal is the fact
that twice as much space is devoted
to telegraph items from over the state
If anything happen in Nebraska you
are more likely to read about it first in
The Lincoln State Journal It costs a
lot of money to pay correspondents in
all the small towns tolegraph tolls but
its the right system as is shown by
The Journal having the largest circu
lation among state readers The Jour
nal aims to chronicle every death and
every marriage in the state In fact
its a daily record of the doings not
only of the people out over the state
but of all the details of the state in
stitutions most of which are located
in Lincoln Its your state university
your agricultural school your hospital
arid your penitentiary Thousands of
officers here and over the etato are
spending your money and The Journal
will best keep you posted on what you
are getting for it Nearly all of the
troubles in state affairs in the past
have occurred because citizens maybe
just like yourself have not paid much
attontion to what was being done By
the direct primary the humblest citizen
is now just as much a part of the gov
ernment as his more fortunate neigh
bor and if thing9 go wrong you your
self may be entitled to part of the
blame In these times what you want
to read is a paper that dares to tell
you the truth about all things and till
parties There are no strings on The
Lincoln Journal

Cambridge Gets Revenge
The result of the football game
Thanksgiving between the McCook
and Cambridge highs at the pretty
burg on the Medicine afforded the
Cambridge lads an opportunity which
they could not resist of evening up for
their previous defeat by the locals
The score was 10 to 2 in favor of Cam
bridge but they had to put in their
eleven two husky fellows who were not
in their game here Supt Taylor and
several high school teachers were with
the boys

ROLL OF BOOSTERS
D3SSSX S
9Jfsffi
It may bo of interest to McCook people in fact to all who are interested in
the temple opera boute enterprise to see the roll of boosters who have subscribed
the 83000000 already pledged for this big community project hence The Tbi
rune reproduces the list in thii issue It shows how splendidly some nay oven
many have come forward with their means to help push along McCooks most
impressive example of energy and push and progrehs It lacks however many
familiar names names representing means names of those oven whom McCook
has dealt with kindly and generously in the j ears agone The Trirune and the
board of directors would be more than delighted to be able to place these names
in the roll of boosters
