new grandson Mr H returned to his

daughter a week or two longer

ed Tuesday morning on No 2 for
their future home in Harvard Ne
braska where Mr Thomas enters upon
the active work of cashier of the State
Bank of that city Mr Thomas will
return in two weeks on business con
nected with McCook Junior State

close of the normal to close up the busi

broken arm resulting from a fall in the
home yard last Friday The fractured
member is mending satisfactorily
Marion Plummer just recently re
turned from a two weeks visit to the
boys Bert and Tom near Ogalalla where
they have about 2000 acre of land
Barney Hofer will take in the Dem
ocratic national convention in Denver
next week and may extend his trip to
the coast and northwest before his re
turn home

resentative is doing the city this morn
ing Mrs Jay arrived from Lincoln on
No 1 and they will be in Denver until
after the convention

California yesterday for the benefit of
his badly depleted health The resi
dence has been rented during their ab
sence to Brakeman Dryden
Mrs C D Kenady was called down
to Red Cloud thi3 week by the illness
of her husband who is home from Mex
ico on account of his health which is
not improving satifactorily
C B Sawyer arrived from Green
acres Wash Tuesday
morning and
will pack their household goods for
shipment to their new home He looks
like that country agreed with him finp
He states that Mrs Sawyer is much
better in that climate also
