City Tuesday and Wednesday to have
a little vacation and note the work sit

Dispatcher T B Campbell was off
duty Saturday on account of tempor

Conductor E M Cos is building a
large and handsome porch to his north
Madison street property and making
other improvements
Ray Lyons of the telegraph office has
extended his vacation until July 15th
and is visiting with Wire Chief Dave
Knowles at Sheridan Wyoming
Conductor H H Beale of trains 15
and 16 will make Denver his headquar
ters Mrs Beale has given up her
suites over the Citizens bank and will
remove to Denver also
Two bums who were disagreeably
insistent upon interfering with the
train crew of No 176 close of last week
between Akron and McCook were
placed in the county jail upon their ar
rival here and will have a little taste of
the Nebraska law which makes it
punishable with imprisonment for
bumming on trains

Henry Best has returned from his va

resumed his duties in the chief dispatch

Hoffman has returned from working
on the steam shovel and resumed his
job which R L Rusk has been filling
during his absence
Engineer W C Schenck has been
transferred to Denver to run on 301 and
302 Denver to Alliance He goes last
of this week but the family will remain

Miss Josephine Phelan went up to
Trenton Wednesday on 13 to spend the
remainder of the week the guest of
Miss Maude Jones formerly in the dis
patchers office
On account of No 13 being so many
hours late Thursday Perrys bridge
