Boost Tuesday Evening THE ATTENDANCE NOT ALL THAT WAS EXPECTED There Are Other Considerable Stock Subscriptions in Sight and the Good Work Will Continue and the Matter Will Be Given a Thorough Try out The meeting of citizens of McCook Tuesday evening though not all that was expected resulted in the temple opera house pro ject being given a substantial boost about 15000 worth of stock being subscribed by those present which did not by any means in clude a full representation of McCooks business men or citizens who should be vitally and energetically interested in an enterprise so full of promise for the city for this project is not to be regarded in any sense as a charitable or philanthropic exercise but one which will pay a fair return on the investment from the very completion of the building And then the collateral advantages and blessings to the city would raise the investment to a most desirable one for the entire community and it must be regarded as a community affair and should interest every citizen in its active support Those having the matter strictly in personal hand will continue the campaign to interest the people and secure subscriptions to the stock There are several considerable stock subscriptions in sight and many of a smaller amount In a large sense the success of the enterprise depends upon the small subscriptions from 1000 up to 10000 and few citizens are unable to give within the amounts named The enterprise will be given a thorough try out The matter is up to the people of McCook who are expected not to attempt to saw with a hammer United action for the betterment and im provement and growth of McCook is all that is needed to boost this project to a complete and proud success A harmonious boost will distribute the burden so that none shall feel it to be heavy ARE YOU A BOOSTER Jud Kay 5 John Calkins 5 Frank Real 5 Chas Merle 5 A U McDonald 5 McCook Republican 5 G C Ileckman 5 Paul Anton 50 Paul Perrenoud 5 HP WaiteCo 25 Wm
