A CORRECTION
In a recent issue of The Tribune ap
peared an article concerning the box
supper held at the school house April
12th when 810820 was raised to buy
books for the library As some dis
satisfaction and comment has been
caused we hope the Trirunk will grant
us space to rectify the same In the
first place the supper was started by the
ladies of the Pleasant Prairie Cemetery
Association for the purpose of raising
money to fence the cemetery and was
announced that way The teacher
Miss Hawkins was requested to assist
in preparing the program which hhe
consented to do but asked that a part
of the proceeds go to the library as
some of the pupils would not help unless
50 per cent of the proceeds went to the
library In the interest of harmony the
request was allowed The library is in
fine condition and the cemetery neglect
ed It is hoped the money will be wise
ly and judiciously used J h r
