from McCook who says he is a cook was ar rested by the police Monday evening on complaint of a man from Havelock who accused him of stealing an overcort be longing to him from a street car The police said yesterday that Townsend had confessed to the theft but ho was held in jail and will have an inning in police court this morning The overcoat was recovered by its owner before the arrest was made Lincoln Journal PROSPECT PARK Warner Anderson who has been visit ing the homefolks for a few weeks left for the west one day this week His many friends were pleased to see him The basket supper and entertainment given at the Park school house was not as well attended as was merited but those attending report a very enjoyable time Evert and Ernest Cox came home to spend a few days with the
