the Methodist church Monday afternoon conducted by Rev M B Carman after which the remains were laid away in Riverview cemetery Deceased was perhaps the oldest resi dent of this county and was one of the early settlers of the county Mary Friday was born near Canton in Stark county Ohio February 7 1816 hence would have been ninety years old in February She was united in mar riage with Joseph Crockford in Ohio in 1840 Of the eight children born to them six are still living Henry and Joseph in Michigan William in River sioux Iowa Jacob in Hooker county Nebraska who was present at the funer
