niversary The evening was pleasantly
spent in social chat games and music

served They received as a reminder of

town people can They made a raft and
floated on the waters of historic Red
Willow and enjoyed it very much

wedding anniversary Games and a
feast of good things were enjoyed by all

Harry L Brown made the sale of the
Irving farm southeast of Bartley this
week to Henry Kanhause for S7000 Mr
Kanhause sold bis farm north of Bartley
and thought of moving to Oregon or
Oklahoma but after some inquiry con
cluded Red Willow county was good
enough for him and will now remain in
Nebraska
The burning of our depot last week is
a great loss and inconvenience to the peo
pie of Bartley and vicinity and we hope
the company will build another as soon
as the can and while we are waiting
they should make a platform for pas
sengers to get of and on the cars as it is
now there is great danger of injury to
the traveling public
