The farmers elevator proposed to be
built in Bartley this season is meeting

Preparations aro being made to trans
plant a fine lot of shade trees south aud
west of our school building
The paint fever is breaking out and
there will be much value and beauty
added to our little village this spring
with paint
Several parties have arranged to put
out shade and fruit trees There will
be more trto planting this spring in
Bartley than for several years past
The Hoover Livery Company have
sold their dray line to Charles MeCol
lum and will hereafter devote their en
tire lime to their increasing livery busi
ness
Bob Gregory and sister Dot passed
through Bartley Tuesday on their way
to Clayton Kaus where Bob has a
store Miss Dot will clerk in her broth
ers store
The especial needs of Bartley juslnow
are a hotel and a good harness shop
The citizens have a nice bonus to donate
to the party who will put up a good
hotel here
