sister arrived home Monday from Ok
lahoma where they have been visiting
for a week or more attending a great
reunion of the numerous Scott family
Acting Supt English went up to Den
ver Tuesday to meet the Perkins
special which is expected in from the
west today On the special are Perkins
Miller Willard Holdrege and lesser
lights in the railroad firmament One
of the cars composing the train is the
famous private car Blackhawk owned
by Perkins and said to be one of the very
finest cars on wheels
They are having a good deal of fun
among the railroad boys over the Denver
episode of last Friday in which Engineer
W B Burnett and Fireman R F Low-
man had the front center of the stage
and two of Denvers finest scarcely less
prominent positions The bo s that is
Burnett and Lowmanhad on their work
aday clothes and had been pinched
by the cops as suspicious characters
and were being taken before the cap
tain when Conductor Tim Foley came
across the quartette on the street iden
tified the suspicious characteis and
secured their release Neither of the
boys has enjoyed life fully since the af
fair became known
