being very satisfactory giving the trainmen a sub stantial increase in wages as the follow ing figures will show The new schedule gives 345 per 100 -miles to through freight conductors and 375 per 100 miles to way freight conductors Through freight brakeman will get 230 per 100 miles and way freight brakeman 2G0 Branch conductors will receive 345 per 100 miles and their brakeman 243 All overtime is 34 cents per hour for con ductors and 25 cents for brakemen Pas senger conductors on the main line will receive S14000 per month and their brake men 6700 The increase is in round figures 1500 a month for conductors 700 for brakemen and 200 for flagmen and the average increase for all trainmen will be about 1000 a month The new schedule went into effect July 1st It will materially increase the pay
