died Friday and was buried Saturday

William Coleman has just had a letter
from his daughter Edith in Oklahoma
She has been in bed eight weeks Sept
15th three doctors held a council and
then told her there was not one chance
in a hundred for her They gave her up
to die For fifty hours she never got
her breath except in gasps She lay at
the point of death from midnight Sun
day night to midnight the nest Sunday
night She was wrapped in scalding
poultices for ninety hours and then be
gan to get better and is now able to sit
up a little while at a time
