Mr. C. R. ( Jranciin. the popular druggist of
Ontario , N. V. " .She wr.s disappointed and
wanted to know what cough preparation I
could recommend. I said to her that 1 could
freely recommend ( 'lumberlain's Cough
Remedy and that sbe could take a bottle of
the remedy and after giving it a fair trial if
she did not find it woith the money to bring
back the bottle and I would refund the price

came back in company with a friend in need
of a cough medicine and advised her to buy a
bottle of Chamberlain's Cough Remedy. I
consider that a very good recommendation
for the remedy. " It is ior sale by McConnell

As the election approaches party lines aie
being drawn tightly and manyhejited discuss
ions between neighbors and friends occur.
Sometimes they cause offense and estrange
ment and sever ties of long friendship. Cor
rectly considered , this should not be the case.
Men have a right to differ in their opinion ; : ,
but should not offend purposely those who
are of a different mind. We will be glad
when the election is over ; and if the laws
were so arranged that we have county elec
tions not oftener than once in two year ; . , state
eltctions once in four yeais , and presidential
and congressional elections once in eight
yeais , and all by direct vote of the people ,
it would be better , perhaps , for all concerned.
