where he will make his headquarters.
The family will follow as soon as a house
can be secured for them.
Everybody truly and deeply sympa
thizes with Norman Campbell in this
additional affliction. Surely his portion
of pain and trouble is excessive.
Mr. and Mrs. James McAlpine were
down from Denver , Sunday , and while
here completed and closed the sale of
their dwelling house over on Monmouth
street.
Roadmaster Sam Rogers , wife and
children returned home on No. 6 , Sun
day. The family has been visiting with
the roadmaster's father in Longtnont ,
Colorado.
Mrs. J. W. Holliday went through the

to Lyons , Colorado , from eastern Ne-
araska , where she had attended the

Burlington Family Splits.
The convention of Burlington superin
tendents and master mechanics complet
ed its joint session Wednesday morning
and met Wednesday afternoon in sepa
rate meetings. The Superintendents
met at the Paxton cafe with General
Superintendent Calvert of Lincoln pre
siding , and the master mechanics con
tinued to meet at the Commercial club ,
with G. W. Rhodes in the chair. Among
those who arrived too late for mention
this morning were Superintendent E-
Bignell of Lincoln , Superintendents C.
B. Rogers and D. F. McFarland , Gen
eral Foreman H. J. Helps of the Platts-
mouth shops and V. O. English. The
section meetings will continue Thursday.
