The order is a young one but very substantial , being composed of the most solid business men of McCook. -Holbrook Herald. A wreck occurred on the southern division - vision of the Burlington , near Liberty in Gage county , Monday morning , in which Engineer Brennan and Conductor Wilson were both killed. A heavy rain had undermined - dermined the culvert and when the engine - gine reached the point it was thrown off the track , the dead men being caught and pinioned under the locomotive. The fireman escaped by jumping from the locomotive. To California in a Tourist Sleeper.
