Minutes of last meeting read and approved.
In compliance with the applications of Allen
Bartley and Elias Petcrraan asking the ap
praisement of certain school lands , S. L. Green
and Henry Crabtree were designated by the
board us the commissioners to appraise said
lands and having made said appraisement ,
made their report under oath that they find
the true and correct value of said lands em
braced in the lease held by Allen Bartley , viz :
All of section thirty-six township 4 , range 27 ,
eight dollars per acre.
Lands embraced in the lease held by Elias
Peterman. E. ; of section 38 , township 4 ,
range 2S , seven dollars per acre , E. } i N. W. &
of section 3G , township 4 , rauge 2 , seven dol
lars per acre , S , W. } i of section 30 , township
4 , range28 , seven dollars per acre.
Petition asking the appointment of Isaac S.
Shirey justice ot the peace in Indianola pre
cinct considered.
On motion Isaac S. Shirey was appointed
justice of the peace in and for Indianola pre
cinct and bond approved.
On motion John W. Welborn was appointed
overseer of roads in and for road district No. 3
and bond approved.

ted and settlement made with them for the
year 1885 as follows , to-wit :
