at Monterey , Gal. , of apoplexy. There
is , however , "grounds for the supposi
tion that Josh's questionable orthogra
phy and worse grammar had somewhat
to do with his sudden demise.
The clerk of the weather is disposed
to be economical of work days now , and
the only rains for some weeks have fal
len on Sunday. The corn crop must
