act as county Judge during illness and absence
of H.-M. Ashmore , considered , and on motion
approved.
On motion Dr. F. VT. Eskey was appointed to
the office of coroner.
On motion the clerk was instructed to notify
William Relph to appear before the board , at
the court bouse in Indianola on tho 8th day of
September , 1885 , and show cause if any exists ,
why he should not be assessed with more cattle
for the year of 1S85.
On motion tho clerk Avas Instructed to notify
county treasurer J. H. Goodrich to transfer
the sum of two hundred and forty-eight and
20-100 dollars , tho amount remaining in the
county poor fund of the years 1880 , ISSland ' 82 ,
to the county general fund.
