No record-breaking performances were recorded and the Qornhuskers had little difficulty, except In the high jump, where all three places went to New Mexico. There were no outstanding individual performances. M. ('. A., meets tomorrow to revise the play ing rules for the 1925-26 season. The three bodies met in separate session today and adopted changes which will be brought before Hip joint iiiiiiniission tomorrow for ofiieial sanc tion. While nothing definite was an nounced as to what changes were rec ommended, it Is understood that the rule hiakers seek to bring about a unification of the rules as Interpreted In the east and west. The elimination of rones anti a modification of the rule providing for the placing of the hand behind the hack In a case of a jump hall also ate slated for consideration. Omaha will bp a gala scene of flags, itches and a myriad of lights during tiie convention of the American Legion, October r» to judging from plans of the decorations committee, untied by CJenrge Brandeis. #The most impressive of the arches './ill be the jeweled 'legion arch." which "id probably be located at Six t*cn:li and Farnam streets, according to Brandeis. City decorating architects will be asked by the committee to recom mend an extensive and appropriate scheme of decorations. Considerable ighting will be adder! to the downtown section during the convention. The present plan has provisions for carrying out a uniform decorative jscheme for the resident sections at low cost. Merchants to Help. In addition to decorations that the legion committee will provide, down town merchants will be asked to deco rate their buildings and windows in harmony with the decoration scheme. {Since the legion convention and Ak |Sar-Ben are combining their festivi ties, Ak Sar Ben is planning to aid in "dressing up" for the big occasion. "Our plans call for the finest and most extensive decorations a city en tertaining an American Legion con vention ever had," said Brandeis. I*carn From Si. Paul.
