Dear Miss Allen: I am a girl in my teens. J go to high school and have many nice girl and boy friends. Quite a few of the boys have asked to take me out, but I can’t go because of my parents. One night I went to a game with two other girls, and then to a show, and didn’t get In until 11:3(1. My parents were very angry, and just because of that forbidden pleasure of going to the show J can't even step out of the house except to go to school. I can't even go to my girl friend’s house, and the only time I get out is Sunday afternoon, and that is very seldom. I think keeping girls in like this is the reason ’’why girls leave home.” I would be very glad to hear from you. BLUE EYES. AYhen a girl In her late teens or early 20s is unduly restrained by lier parents, she Is apt to leave home pro vided she lias work w hieh would en able to live elsewhere. I Imagine, however, that your parents were not entirely unreasonable in feeling alarm because you did not get home when ihey expected. Now you will have to regain their confidence, and it cannot be done by showing resentment to ward them. A« soon as they believe they have taught you a lesson and you are to be trusted, they will give you more freedom. Tt always pays for a girl to take her partsnts into her confidence; unhappiness Is sure to fol low deceit. A Sensible Match. Dear Miss Allen: 1 am 23 and at a Joss what to do. My patents never thought anyone suitable for no- to marry, although some of rnv admirers were making a very good living, I have a friend now who has a very good> trade and Is making a fair sal ary. He wants to marry me. He Is 33 and seems a plain, honest man. AAONDER1NG. if you lune known your friend long enough to be sure that lie Is congenial and will be a suitable husband, and if your affection for him Is deep and genuine, why not marry him? 1 see no reason why you should not both be veryvhappy. Grateful: AY hen a double ring cere mony is used, the bride gets the groom's ling for him. The couple usually arranges to get rings that match or at least are along 1lie same style. Platinum rings are being used now for the double ring ceremony, although gold is still favored by many. If the bride's wedding ring Is of plati num arid diamonds, no attempt is made to match it In the groom's ring except that the same material 1s used and the same design. IT possible. It is not. necessary to have the double ring ceremony. The majority of peo pie do not. Wondering: Thera is no age «t which a girl should start going with boys. It Is not a compulsory or neces sary matter, you know'. Girls atari going* with hoys when they are about. 1fi. r a 1). A. B. President Gomes. NJ -- V m || Anftv>\vy%J Coofe,. | Mm.
