Washington, Jan. 2.—The senate postoftiee committee approved today the iidministration bill providing for increases in postal salaries and rates. Hate increases recommended by the l’ostotfice department, however, were redpportioned so that second class mail will be charged considerably less than originally proposed. The bill would be effective on April 15 tills year, and terminate February 15, 11)26. Graves, 79, formerly of Thurman, la., whoso 18-year old deaf and dumb bride di vorced him shortly after their mar riage three years ago, Is again a bridegroom. This time he was mar ried to a widow from Auburn. Wash., at Yakima, Wash. The aged man's previous matrimoni al adventure went on the rocks In a short time. He was married on the Fourth of July, 1922, to the deaf and dumb girl and they were divorced in October of that year. When asked by the clerk how old he was, Mr. Graves gave his age as ‘ legal." When he was married three years ago he gave his age as 76.
