' SHTE BOYS' ‘HH’ - MEET IS Pin ^0 Older Eolith* From Oma ha to Attend Vi eek-End < Conference. Furty oilier boys from Omaha high * hools will attend the annual slate convention of Hi-Y club leaders at Columbus. Neb , Friday, Saturday and Sunday Ibis week. More than 350 older high school boys from all sections of Nehraska will be at this conference. The Omaha hoys in attendance will represent the Contra! senior and junior Hi-Y club*. South Hl-Y club and-Technical Hl-Y club. The hoys' will leave Friday noon and the convention will open Friday afternoon at 3:30 witli an nddress by II. P. Demand of Denver, interna tional boys’ week secretary of the Y. M. C. A. The conference banquet will beheld on Friday night In the Federated Jy church, with I,. C. Oberlies of Lincoln < as the principal speaker. Series of Addresses. On Saturday morning the first of a series of three addresses by Rev. XV. P. McCormick of Storm Lake, In., will be given, and In the afternoon a special showing of the moving pic ture “Abraham Lincoln’’ will be put on for the boys. A reunion of all delegates at Camp Sheldon, three miles south of Co lumbus, will lie held on Saturday afternoon and the boys will lie taken to the camp in cars by Columbus people. On Saturday night Rev. Mr. Mc Cormick will give the second of his scries of addresaes, and he will close the conference Sunday morning with his third talk. The boys will return to Omaha Sunday afteroon. Charles Hans of Central High school, president of the Central Hi-Y club, is secretary of the conference, and John Trout of Omaha will make a short talk at the Sunday morning . session. A. XV. BREAK IN RANKS OF WHEAT RAISERS Minneapolis, Minn., Nov. 26.—The Minnesota Wheat Growers' associat ed lias withdrawn from the American Wheat Growers associated, the na tional wheat co-operative organization with headquarters here, and XV. .1. Brown has resigned as president of the national body, it was announced here today. Brown, in making the announce ment, declined to gi\a the complete I reason for the break, but said that It will be permanent unless of the con duct of the American group is changed. He said the Minnesota association will market its 1024 crop with the new grain marketing company of Chi cago, formed by the consolidation of the live private companies Into a co operative organization. lie added that the wish to market with the t'hicago company was tlie immediate cause of the withdrawal. By common consent of the Mlnne sola and American organizations, the five-year contract which bound the Minnesota body to turn over its wheat to the American was ahrogat ed. Brown said. r. M.
