Ill LEGjSLATURE Republicans Already Have 54 Lower Houge Seats, Demo crats 32. Republican candidates for the leg islature held their leads established In earlier returns as the second day after election brought virtually final figures. With the republican state administration brought Into office, a republican law-making machine like wise had been set up by the voters of Nebraska. With 13 lower house seats not ac counted for, the republicans today held 54, although two were still doubtful. The democrats occupied 32 and a progressive candidate was vic torious In one contest. The republican majority was far greater In the state senate. The re publicans were entrenched, four demo crats held places and five districts 1-ad not reported fully enough to In dicate a choice. Only one Instance of a reversal of I first returns occurred. That was ir, ’ the Twenty-fourth district, where Hall county Is situated, 21 precincts returned a large enough vote In the senatorial race to displace S. M. Fries, democrat, and install G- C. Hum phrey, republican, by a majority of 3»0. with the vote complete. No. changes In any of the standing for major offices In the state or mate rial shifts In the ratio or pluralities occurred as more complete reports became available. _ New Ministry List Sent to King by Tory Premier for Approval. By DAVID M. Cm'ROH. London, Nov. 6.—Premier Designate Stanley Baldwin completed the forma tlon of his tory cabinet this evening and eent ^ie names to King Geo^e for approWl. It will be an "all tor*” cabinet. Earlier In the day ther« had been reports that Baldwin was meeting with obstacles over the surplus of candidates for some of the ministerial I posts. Baldwin was expected to announce , the cabinet personnel tonight. It is understood that in addition to Austin Chambers as foreign min ister, Neville Chamberlain will be minister of the public health; Lend Birkenhead, secretary for Indian af fairs; Lieut. Col. Leopold Amory, secretary ofUlie colonies, and E. F. L. Wood, secretary of agriculture. Winston Churchill will be chan cellor of the exchequer, according to the London Evening Standard. The Standard also says that Horne was offered the labor ministry but re ^ * fused it. It criticized Baldwin for not offering him a higher post. Agreed on Bond Issue. Corporation Counsel Lambert and City Attorney Van Deusen have Joint ly agreed that the Riverside drive bond issue passed Tuesday when a majority of the voters voted Its ap proval. Lambert was at first Inclined to believe that the bond needed 60 per gent of the total vote cast, and Van Deusen's opinion was that a majority was needed. Lambert stated he changed his opinion after further study of the law and the bond Issue. ) ADVERTISEMENT. What goes Into his Gothic spire reap pears in print in vivid vignettes of contemporary life. His syndicate letter “New York Day by Day,” is a delight to sev eral million readers by reason of its variety, veracity and humor. Some one has truly said that O. O. Ho is master impressionist, pro ducing his effects with a light deft touch and an amazing economy of words. Comedy, pathos, tragedy burlesque, are all bound up in his writings. And when you have read him, you will find you have also a portrait of the author as I have long known him. A kindly man, a man of under standing, Odd gives all members of the poor old human race the benefit of the doubt. His tolerance is infinite. Allen, of 26 Forbes 8t., P.och€*ster. N. Y., suffered for years with rheumatism. Many times this terrible disease left him helpless and unable to work. He finally derided, after years of cease less study, that no one can be free from rheumatism until tho accumulated Im purities. commonly railed uric acid de posits, were dissolved in the Joints and nius« lee and expelled from the body. With this Idea In mind he consulted physicians, made experiments and final ly compounded a prescription that quick ly and completely banished every sign and symptom of rheumatism from his system. He freely gave his discovery, which he called Allenrhu, to others who took it, with what might be called marvel ous success. After years of urging he decided to let sufferers everywhere know about his discovery through the newspa pers. I had been ailing for a year with pains in my right side so that I could hardly stand on my feet. When I walked I felt as if something was falling. I was not able to do any work and had a nurse most of the time. She spoke to me about Lydia E. Pinkham's Veg etable Compound, so I gave it a fair trial. Some women think one bottle should cure them, but I did not stop at that. I took more and got better and am able ever since to do my own housework. There was a time, when I would complain of not feeling well, that my husband would sav, ’Go to the doctor. ’ But now he will tell me to get a bottle of Lydia E. Pinkham's, and it has always helped me. I have had druggists tell me that they had something better, but they don’t teil me that now, for I take no other.
