Madame Louise of Chicago, stopping at Hotel Fontenelle, will lecture Wed nesday night In connection with a hair dressing style show to be given in the ballroom at 8 o'clock. * "To bob or not to bob Is a 50-50 proposition," said Madame Louise Tuesday morning In an Interview. "Girls who have never had long hair want It,” she said. “The hair Is preferably worn short during the day. Beautiful wigs are worn In the eve ning. the elaborate ones being of short w'hlte hair. "Flowers, combs and barettes will be much worn. Bandeaux slip on iver the head like a cap. "Large marcels are in favor. Short i-air should be permanently waved, ut the permanent wave has to he roperly caved for or it adds nothing to appearance. "As for a style of coiffure. I advise people to be individual, to study their own types and dress accordingly. "Hair' dyes are not a success with people who are too light or too dark In complexion. The dye makes their faces look harsh. The medium com plexloned people can use hair dyes successfully. Gray hair should be curled. Straight white hair makes people look old. "Lavender powder should he used in the evening or green for an ala baster complexion for blondes. In the day time, brunettes should use an orange powder, and blondes a bright red shade.
