Mabel Xormund, movie star, was among those present and following the run ning of the fifth race at six furlongs, gave Jockey Fator a handsome bou quet of flowers and congratulated him on his victory atop Full Moon. Mable poted with the winner while cameras clicked and before leaving the judges' stand turned and informed all present that the flowers were for the jcck»y and not the horse. The winner paid $125.80 for each $2 ticket on his nose, while place and show ducats brought their owners $40,40 and *19, respectively. Faithful Girl, the favorite, raced in third position until the far turn and th»n quit. Another long shot copped the third rave at five and one-half furlongs when Slippery Smile with Jockey E. Neal in the saddle finished a scant nose to the good over Virgo. Emma Williams made a game try to take place money hut was a nec(c short of second position at the wire. Linc oln High Golf Team Loses The Lincoln High school golf team lost to the Central High players at Happy Hollow Wednesday by the score of 9 to 2, the Nassau system of scoring being used to determine the winner. Low sccre honors went to Johnny Read, municipal champ, who turned in a card of 82 for the 18 holes, lie defeated Welter of Lincoln. 3 to 0 Porter of Lincoln lost to Pollard. 3 to 0, and Janderson and Young, the former of Lincoln, divided honors, each winning a point. Malland won over Berbach of Lincoln, 2 to 1. A return golf match will be pl.iyed at Lincoln soon. Wants to Play Ba««*l>all.
