Bozell explained that Ins organiza tion is cooperating with the city planning board in the preliminary work. He asserted that It will require about a year and a half to dispose of the formalities in connection witli acquirement of the land. “City officials from Kansas City went over this ground and assured | / us that Omaha is unusually favored by nature for a river drive,” Rozell said. "I am convinced that the river drive project w ill become a reality, find we must remember that it re quires considerable time to put through a project of flits size.” The speaker explained the city charter amendments, which were ap proved by the voters on May 6. Carl Kckstrom, former resident of Omaha and now an actor residing in New York City, spoke briefly on a revival of interest In the spoken drama.
