Passage of the Insurance measure yesterday by the senate in aitbstan tlslly tha same form as approved by ths house, left only minor differences between the chambers for adjustment tn conference, and It Is expected to be ready soon for President C'oolidge’s consideration. No word on the subjest of bonus legislation has come from the presi dent sinca hla message to congress. He declared against a bonus at that time, but It liaa been pradlcted In some quarters recently that he might approve the Insurance plan. At the same lime, proponents of the bill have expreased confidence that, even If he should disapprove It, sufficient votes were assured In ladh the house and senate to override a veto.
