Primary Drive to Close With One More Dav 75.000 Names on Omaha Elec torate; Women Active for Convention Dele* gate Posts. *4 By EDWARD BLACK One more day for the candidates to present their argument* and th«y Will submit their cases to th* great jury, the electorate, at the primaries on Tuesday. An expression of IPO per cent of the electorate in Omaha on Tuesday would bring out about 75,000 men and women. Voters are urged again by the elec tion commissioner and the party lead ers to examine the lists of candidates, and they stress the importance of going to the polls and exercise that part of citizenship which is contained in the elective franchise. The primaries this time will include presidential, national, etate, congres sional, legislative, county, nonpolltl cal and Metropolitan Utilities district. Recognition of women by th* re publican party Is reflected by the number of filings of women for seat* in the republican national convention. Of the IS who have filed for seven delegateshlps-at-Iarge, two are women: Mrs. Draper Smith of Omaha and Blanche William* of Broken Bow. Mrs. Smith Is one of th* republican leader* of Nebraska. Sh* ha* been vice chairman of the Douglas county central committee for four years and for two year* ah# waa tic# chairman of the republican state central committee. Mrs. Smith is a former president of the State Feder ation of Women’s Clubs and for sev eral years was president of the Ne braska Suffrage association. SO For Commisloner Thirty-nine candidates In th* city commissioner race will face the •tarter on Tuesday morning. In on* group are six of the incumbent com missioners, with Commissioner D. B.
