Clark, 76, was killed yes terday afternoon when he broke his neck in a fall from a load of hay near tha home of his daughter, Mrs. Tt. C. Mbrehouse, living on rural route No. 5, Council Bluffs. Ho had been a resident of Potta wattamie county for 60 years. The aged man had been helping his son-in-law, R. C. Morehouse, and was riding on top of a load of hay which was being hauled from the field. He was thrown to' the ground when the wagon passed over a hump in the road. He is survived by his daughter, one son, Bertram Clark; two broth ers, Henry J. and John T. Clark; a sister, Mrs. R. Winchester of Coun cil Bluffs, and three grandchildren. She knew him 25 years ago, before her other two marriages. She said she thought the money left by her second hysband attracted him.
