New York, March 3.—Harry F. Sin clair, chief owner of the Mammoth Oil company, whose lease of the Teapot Dome oil reservation from the govern ment is being Investigated, today, is sued a statement to stockholders of the Sinclair Consolidated Oil corpora tion, explaining the relationship and 1 esponsiblllty of other companies, with which he is connected with re gard to the government project. The Sinclair Consolidate! Oil cor poration of which Mr. Sinclair is chairman, owns more than 25 per cent of the stock of the Mammoth com pany, he said, with a present market value of approximately $5,750,000. This is the equivalent, he explained of $1.15 a share on the total number of Sinclair Consolidated OH corpora tion common shares outstanding. The Consolidated corporation, he added, has not loaned nor obligated Itself to loan money to the Mammoth com pany. The Sinclair Refining company, Mr. Sinclair continued, has almost com pleted a storage Installation for the Jievy at Portsmouth, N. H., represent B^ng a total cost of less than $1,000,000, w which cost Is to be liquidated by proceeds from royalty oil accruing to the government through Mammoth Oil company operations. Pipe line extensions, undertaken to transport oil from the government least eastward, he said, would also be available to serve new fields which may be developed not only In Wyo ming but also In Montana, Colorado, Nebraska and the Dakotas. Half of the stock in Sinclair Pipe Dine com pany Is owned by the Consolidated company and half by the Standard Oil company of Indiana, he said. The Sinclair Crude OH Purchasing company, also jointly owned by the Consolidated and the Indiana Stand ard Oil, has a contract to purchase all the government royalty oil In the Salt Creek field of Wyoming, but that contract, he asserted. Is not connected in any way with the Mammoth Oil company. Mrs. Catherine Dineen Dies. Mrs. Catherine Dineen, 61, widow »r John Dineen. died yesterday at the home, 6312 Military avenue, after an Illness of six months. She ie sur vived by one son, 'William, and five daughters, Mrs. Walter Appleton, Mrs. George Smith, Mrs. T. C. Mc Qlvain, Mrs. Clarence J.app and Miss Nellie Dineen, all of Omaha. Funeral services will be held Tues day at 9 a. m. at the home and at 9:»0 at Si. Bernard church. William Rosenau Dies. William Rosenau. 61, carpenter, died early this morning at his home. Twenty-ninth street. He had been a resident of Omaha for 33 years. He is survived by his widow and by two sons, William and Charles Rosenau. Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 3 at the Hoffman funeral home, Rev. Kochein officiating. 3 Bandits Rob Collector. Chicago, March 3.—Three bandits apparently follower F. L. Miller, a collector for a motor fuel company ever his route and after he had col lected between $5,000 and $6,000 from six of the companies filling stations, held up and robbed him of the money, he reported to police.
