Quinn in Capital for Bonus Fight Washington, Jan. 21.—With the arrival here of John K. yuinn, na tional commander of the American Legion, the forces of the veterans’ organization began to muster for the tight to pass tile adjusted compensa tion bill. Nine members of the national executive committee in addition to seven members of the “"Tiational executive committee who will puiile the legion's battle strategy are either here or will arrive tomorrow morn ing for the conference which will map out the campaign. 4 Commander Quinn will leave here within a few days for a tour of Penn sylvania, New York and the New Kllglaml states, speaking on the ail justed compensation bill and attack ing Secretary Mellon's treasury tig ures. I.ater he will tour the south. The 16 members of tbe augmented executive committee will remain in Washington until the bill Is passed. Red Fox Killed in Rabbit Drive Between 150 and 200 persona par tlripaled in a rabbit drive south of Council Bluffs Sunday, organized by 11. u. Mend. The bag included several hundred rabbits, one wolf, a coyote and a ted fox. No cows were shot. There were no accidents. A similar drive Is planned to be held again In the near future.
