Peanut Suit Dismissed. Norfolk, Va., Sept. 25.—The *3,626, OM damage suit of the Peanut Grow ers' association against 15 cleaning ^ and shelling concerns were dismissed by Judge Groner In the United States district court under agreement by counsel for both sides. The agree ment reached through a series of con ferences held since the adjournment of court Friday carried with it. it is understood, the payment of $30,000 to the plaintiff. v Nuts that are kept cold will not become rancid. Broker Jumps to Death. Chicago, III., Sept. 25.—John Lewis Cochran. 65, a real estate broker, jumped from a seventh floor window of a Lake Shore drive apartment hotel and was killed today. He had been in ill health for the last year and a nurse entered the room in time to see him plunge from the window. He was born In Sacramento, Cal., and in 1892 married Alice Vanuxem of Phila delphia, who with two sons survive.
