Eleven Insurance Firms Enter State and 13 Withdraw 4 Companies Have Changed Names or Operating Plan, State Department Report Shows. Thirteen insurance companies have retired from the Nebraska field since the first of the year, and 11 others have entered it, according to a re port of the state department of trade and commerce. Four companies have changed their names or plan of operation, and 11 companies have been examined by representatives of the department.1 The list follows: Nebraska Com panic* Retired. O’Neill, Neb., June 15.—Edward gansen, railroad fireman of Fremont, r-\a filed suit for $100,000 against the Northwestern railroad. He fell off a locomotive tender at Scribner last January while taking water for the engine and charges that he was ir reparably Injured. Two Sisters Wed Same Day. Special Dispatch to Tho Omaha Bee. Firth. Neb., June 15.—A double wed ding occurred at Princeton, Thursday. V7llliam F. Papke, 25, of Blue Bluffs, Wye., and Miss I.enora Ehrlich, 19, of Firth, were married, and the sister of the bride. Miss Verneda Ehrlich. 18. was married to Henry Pape. 22, of Firth. The ceremonies were perform ed by the Rev. Philip BeellVd at the First Congregational church at ^;nce ton. __ - Brings Back Prisoner. United States Marshal Cronin re turned yesterday from North Platte, hringing Bert Prout with him. Columbus, Neb., June 15.—Frank Greisen, 40, farmer living near Platte Center, was instantly killed yester day morning when struck hy light ning while he was digging a ditch to drain his garden. The severity of the storm frightened Mrs. Greisen, who received no response when she called her husband. With a neigh bor she went to the garden where Greisen's body was found. Dr. A. A. Bald, county physician, pro nounced death due to lightning. Philip Greisen, a younger brother, w-as mysteriously slain five years ago while he was motoring from Platte Center to Columbus to visit an uncib who was ill. Frank Greisen was born in Platte county. Besides his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Mausbach Greisen, he is survived by his parents and three small children. Electric Lines Planned. Special Dispatch to The Omaha Bee. Plainview, Neb., June 14.—The pro ject of establishing new transmission lines from Plainview to Breslau and the farming districts lying east and south of here is heing planned. T. R. AA’hiting of tho Electric De velopment company of Omaha has been in Plainview for over a week working with Light Commissioner O. N. Michener and the undertaking is practically assured. A little gasoline in the water when scrubbing floors will quickly eradi cate grease spots. Bryan to 0. K. All J State House News No More Information to Be Given Out Without Gov ernor’s Approval. Special Dispatch to The Omaha Bee. Lincoln, June 15.—Governor Bryan announced today that he would ac cept no more alibis from appointees who had given out information to the press before he had time to scrutinize it and place his official O. K. on such information. "Hereafter, resignations and alibis will reach my desk at the same time,” he said. The governor stated that in the last week, nowspapers had printed two stories given out by appointees before the substance of the matter had re ceived his approval. One was a list of expenditures of the state capitol commission prepared in the office of Roy Cochrane, state engineer. The other was an outline of Cochrane's plan to reorganize the state road de partment and containing suggestions on appointees. The governor asserted that Cochrane himself had not given out this information, but that certain persons in his office had. and that he would have no more of it. Beatrice, Neb., June 15.—William Ewing, employe of the Beatrice Power company plant near Barneston, swore out a complaint in county court against William Day, his wife. Sarah, and two sons, Silas and Ray, charging that they assaulted Mrs. Ewing as she was driving along the highway near the power plant. Ewing also swore out a peace warrant against Day and his family to pre vent further attacks. Restraining order recently was is sued to prevent the Days from inter fering with employes of the Power company. Sheriff Sailing has gone to the scene of hostilities to serve war rants on the defendants. Two Youths of Wymore Charged With Horse Stealing Beatrice. Neb., June 15.—Two Wy more youths, Idoyd Wagner and John Lubcrger, who are charged with theft of a home and buggy belonging to Robert Rice of Blue Springs, were ar rested at the farm of Janies Pisar, near the state line, where they are said to have deserted the rig. Officers say they entered the home of Mr. Pisar, took a revolver and some money, and were in the act of riding away on hia saddle horse when de tected and taken Into custody. Gen. Duncan to Make Tour of National Guard Camps MaJ. Gen. George B. Duncan will make a tour of the National guard encampments of the Seventh Army Corps area during the next 30 day*, he said yesterday.
