Prisoner Sets Fire to Cellmate in Jail Acting Jailer Rogers, sitting In his ffice Friday afternoon, smelled smoke. He leaped into action, Following the odor, he found John Poe lying on the floor of his cell in a stupor, his shirt on fire. Asleep in the same cell was J. H. Kaiser, charged with intoxication, sound asleep The first man when arrested was too drunk to give his name. When he was placed in the same cell with Kaiser the latter playfully set fire to him and fell asleep. Rogers threw a bucket of water over the prostrate man and placed Kaiser in. another cell.
