Lincoln, March "ft.—In spite of weather conditions. Coach Henry IT. Schulte is attempting to pick the team which will represent Nebraska at the Missouri Valley indoor meet at Kansas City, Saturday, and from there start west to meet the univer sities of New Mexico and California. In the first place he has had no adequate eval for practice; secondly, he got away to the latest start in his ex perience, and to top it all, Schulte had to submit to an operation. It was at Coach Schulte’s sugges tion that Kansas City first fostered tbe plan of holding a Missouri valley indoor meet. Therefore, he Is doubly anxious to take a team there which will bring home at least a share of the prizes. Schulte will taVe only 20 men west from Kansas City with him. He has more entered in the valley indoor competition and these athletes will 10turn fr6m there while the cream of the Scarlet anc" Cream shove off for the west.
