Counties Giving % to Fund to Build Receiving Home Number of 36 Districts Now i Organized Reach Quotas in Children's Home So ciety Campaign. "t'nusually good reports are being received by the campaign headquart ers of the Nebraska Children's Home society from counties in the state,” according to R. B. Ralls, superinten dent. The society is now conducting a i ampaign in the state to raise $20,000, which with the $20,000 that was rais ed in Omaha recently, will be used to erect a new’ receiving home for the homeless children of Nebraska. Mrs. Helen Vandewerker of Kear ney, chairman of Buffalo county, sent a telegram yesterday that Buffalo county had reached Its quota of $1,000. A check for $124 was received from Mrs. F. H. Cunningham, Kim ball county. Ix>gan county went over the top with $115.25. Mrs. J. R. Hamilton is chairman of this county. Mrs. H. O. Hough of Oghllala re ported Keith county reached its quota. The campaign in Hall county, w hich was directed by Mrs. Max. J, Thompson, brought in $8,000. Thirty-six counties have been or- , ^ ga nixed. The rest of the state is | now being organized. The opening ; date of the dsive has been set in some j i ounties as March 15 and in other counties, March 26. "Reports received from the county chairmen so far has been very en- , c,enraging,” said Mr. Ralls, "I am confident that the state will go over | i he top ns did Omaha.” If the laundress has been careless j and allowed your linens to mildew, do not despair. Rub all stains with a j fresh tomato, cover liberally with salt and place article In the hot sun. After washing and bluing the linen will look like new.
